Black Coffee stuns with new album “Subconsciously”

With his latest album, first in 5 years, South African DJ titan Black Coffee enchants us yet again with his emotional, progressive, and atmospheric beats.

After playing in virtually every big electronic music venue in the world and collaborating with Drake in 2017 which lead him to more pronounced fame and further collaborations with Diddy and Pharrell Williams, Black Coffee packs his newest record with big names including vocalists Usher, Sabrina Claudio, Celeste and more, and fellow producers David Guetta, Diplo, DJ Angelo, and Pharrell Williams (who also provides vocals on “10 Missed Calls”). Subconsciously may truly be the ripest fruit of Black Coffee’s two-plus decades refinement while redefining his sound, limitless on the far side borders and genres, nevertheless stock-still in his South African identity—he’s never too massive to collaborate with small fellow artists from his home country. Black Coffee says:

I hope that this album brings anyone who’s listening from anywhere in the world joy. That’s what the music is all about for me. I’ve been working on and evolving my sound for pretty much my entire life. Music is life to me and I want you to feel that with every beat and melody. Music should divide barriers and unite us under this one universal language—and that’s exactly what I wanted to do with ‘Subconsciously’. My artistic touch will always be defined by my music, but I want to break barriers and convey a global message, not just on dancefloors. This album goes way beyond.

This one-of-a-kind artist went from being hungry on the streets in South Africa to building entire schools and neighbourhoods. This means that streaming his newest album will not only bring you joy, but will help Black Coffee build a better future for young South African generations – Subconsciously is available on all streaming platforms.
