Collection SS21 by Bolia: Welcome to a soothing sanctuary

New perspectives and new beginnings. The 2021 Spring Collection by Bolia welcomes a new, bright and optimistic universe. Nature is the focal point, the major inspiration, and it is from its purity that the new pieces are born, designed to create a space of calm that is at once beautiful, unique and mindful. Scandinavian nature is the main source of inspiration for the Bolia brand.

The new SS21 collection invites everyone to slow down, and does so with spaces of calm, sensory atmospheres away from the constant turmoil of today’s world. In these new pieces, Bolia explores the tactile, emphasising calm, warm and soft forms that encourage stillness and relaxation. Organic silhouettes and natural, honest materials infuse the spaces with a sense of awareness and personal well-being. Convinced that tactile surfaces stimulate the senses and that materials define the experience of space, Bolia focuses its new collection on the colours, materials, surfaces and seasons of nature. 12 new furniture pieces, 11 new home accessories, existing designs reinvented…

Here is a selection of the pieces that make up the SS21 collection by Bolia:

Aya is a series of modular sofas and poufs, connected by a refined and bohemian expression. Their primary intention was to make a luxurious design language coexist with a certain artistic freedom and sustainable craftsmanship. For this reason, the Aya seats have removable upholstery, and its cushions are true oases of comfort, with meticulous quality.

To work at home, to dive into a book, or simply to illuminate a living room after dark, Reflection lamps by Asger Risborg Jacobsen brilliantly isolate the light source from the lampshade. This process gives life to a play between these two elements, in a timeless and lively design.

Link tables reflect the purity of Scandinavian design. The tabletop, made of FSCTM-certified wood, is held in balance by four thin metal legs that are lowered into the tabletop. This feature offers a clean surface. Link can be used as a stand-alone home office, or as a combination in rows in larger spaces.

For the Stay chair series, Andreas Lund was inspired by woodworking and Danish design traditions while offering a strong, sustainable profile. The chair is made from FSCTM-certified wood, is flat packed, assembled with only four screws, and used pieces can over time be replaced with new ones. Capturing true sustainability and longevity in one breath-taking piece.

Nature has an important role to play in the composition of serene spaces. The Grove series of flowerpots has been designed to create small green spaces in the home. Their shape is designed to provide great living conditions for plants, while leaving them with an aesthetic appeal, all in durable and natural materials.

Finally, Story is an elegant series of handmade side tables and coffee tables. They will showcase carefully selected objects or can hide others behind their captivating surface. Anna Karnov & Clara Mahler wanted to create a quality design, which would age gracefully and find itself at the crossroads between need and desire. The Story tables, and the natural oak of which they are made, will tell their story day after day, in a living room, an office, or a meeting space.

The SS21 collection by Bolia also includes two desks, Acentric and Graceful, real blank canvas designed to bring creativity and concentration to the home.

Many outdoor pieces allow you to extend youroutdoor living space while inviting nature indoors. Ideal to welcome spring, it harmonises with the other novelties that have no other purpose than to create sanctuaries of peace, refuges of serenity, bright and positive.

All of this in a calm, peaceful, soothing inspiration that is only born when you finally take the time to slow down.
