New Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ : Ultimate Performance on the Track

At the prestigious Festival of Speed in Goodwood, Mercedes-AMG unveiled its latest creation: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ (provisional figures; Combined fuel consumption: 14.1 l/100 km | CO2 emissions in the mixed cycle: 319 g/km | CO2 class: G). This model is aimed at driving enthusiasts seeking unparalleled driving dynamics, particularly on the track. With increased power, optimized aerodynamics, and improved cooling, this new version promises superior performance and enhanced handling.

A Powerful Engine for Maximum Performance

At the heart of the GT 63 PRO is a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine delivering 450 kW (612 hp), 20 kW (27 hp) more than the previous version. This engine, coupled with an optimized control unit, offers a maximum torque of 850 Nm, guaranteeing impressive acceleration. The vehicle goes from 0 to 200 km/h in just 10.9 seconds, with a top speed of 317 km/h.

Optimized Cooling for Consistent Performance

To keep the transmission at optimal temperatures even under high loads, the GT 63 PRO is equipped with enhanced high and low-temperature cooling systems. Two additional radiators located in the front wheel arches increase cooling efficiency. Radiators mounted on the front and rear differentials and the transfer case of the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel-drive system ensure continuous heat dissipation thanks to electric water pumps.

Advanced Aerodynamics for Increased Stability

Aerodynamics and driving dynamics specialists collaborated to improve stability and overall performance. The redesigned front apron, with carbon fiber deflectors, reduces aerodynamic lift by more than 30 kilograms on the front axle, ensuring precise steering. Additional deflectors on the underbody and a fixed rear spoiler increase downforce on the rear axle, optimizing high-speed handling.

Ceramic Brakes and Forged Wheels for Perfect Control

The AMG high-performance ceramic braking system, with 420-millimeter discs at the front, offers exceptional durability and high heat resistance. The 21-inch forged wheels, equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires as standard, can be replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires for maximum grip on the track, at no extra cost.

A Design Inspired by Motorsport

The AMG Exterior Carbon Pack, including carbon fiber elements such as the front splitter, side skirts, and rear spoiler, emphasizes the vehicle’s sporty character. Inside, the AMG Performance seats and the Nappa leather/microfiber MICROCUT steering wheel provide optimal comfort and support, perfect for sporty driving.
