Fleur de Ville: A New Jewel in Brussels’ Downtown

This summer, Brussels welcomed Hotel Fleur de Ville, a boutique hotel located in a former 19th-century bank building. Blending historic architecture with modern, cinematic flair, the 51-room hotel offers an elegant retreat in the heart of the city.

Designed by Saar Zafrir, each room incorporates vintage touches like fireplaces and moldings, while the large windows of The Bluebell Rooms overlook a serene inner garden.

Alongside the hotel is Era, a restaurant housed in the former council chamber. Chef Yonatan Cohen’s menu blends modern and traditional French and European cuisine, with signature dishes like steak tartare and inventive flavor combinations. The space itself boasts retro-chic design, featuring soaring ceilings and rich historical details. The hotel also offers the Grand Foyer, a lounge bar perfect for unwinding with a drink and light bites.

Fleur de Ville is perfectly located for guests to enjoy Brussels’ bustling cultural scene, with events like the Winter Wonders market and the Ceramic Brussels art fair just around the corner.

Whether visiting for a short stay or a longer escape, Fleur de Ville combines luxury and comfort with the vibrancy of the city.
