To mark the 25th anniversary of the 911 GT3, Porsche unveils two new versions of this iconic car: the 911 GT3, optimized for the track, and the 911 GT3 Touring, a more refined variant designed for everyday use. These new models, with extensive customization options, embody the perfect blend of sports performance and driving comfort.
Pure Performance: 4.0-Liter Naturally Aspirated Engine
The new 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring are equipped with a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, delivering 510 horsepower (375 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. Thanks to this engine, the 911 GT3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds with the PDK transmission and can reach a top speed of 313 km/h. The model also offers a 6-speed GT manual transmission for driving purists.
Sharpened Design and Aerodynamics
Both models feature a refined design and aerodynamic innovations that optimize downforce and airflow. At the front, the lip spoiler has been reworked, along with the rear diffuser and air deflectors. The GT3’s distinctive rear wing adds a sporty touch, while the Touring version opts for a sleek, elegant design without a fixed rear wing.
Customization Packages: Weissach and Leichtbau
Racing enthusiasts can opt for the Weissach package, which enhances lightness and performance with CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) components and magnesium wheels. For the GT3 Touring, the Leichtbau package adds lightweight features and a clean design for daily driving. These options allow drivers to tailor their 911 GT3 to their desires, whether for track performance or road comfort.
Innovations and Comfort
The interior of the 911 GT3 stands out with an ergonomic cockpit, a Track Screen display mode, and a new lightweight sports bucket seat designed for optimal comfort on both road and track. For the first time, the GT3 Touring offers an optional rear seat system, enhancing its versatility.
