The Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed marks the spectacular debut of the Mythos series, a limited edition lineup from Mercedes-Benz, with a radical, fully open two-seater sports car. Unveiled at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1™ Grand Prix, this vehicle merges design, technology, and a tribute to legendary motorsport heritage.
A Design Inspired by Legends
Without a roof or windshield, the PureSpeed offers total immersion in the driving experience. Its design evokes the hypercar Mercedes-AMG ONE, featuring a shark-nose grille, aerodynamic 21-inch wheels, and carbon fiber elements. The HALO system, inspired by Formula 1™, combines safety and style, while custom-designed helmets enable high-speed communication.
High-Performance Thrills
Under the hood, the AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine delivers 585 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h. The AMG 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and semi-active suspension ensure impeccable handling, while the ceramic braking system provides optimal deceleration.
Strictly Limited Edition
With only 250 units produced, the PureSpeed features exclusive finishes, including a “Silver Arrow” color scheme honoring Mercedes’ historic victories. Each model is adorned with a badge signifying its rarity.
