JAECOO 5 BEV : A first hands on look at the Brussels Motor Show

Discovered in preview at the Brussels Motor Show, the JAECOO 5 BEV marks the arrival of a new electric SUV with a distinctive positioning on the Belgian market. This latest model from OMODA & JAECOO aims to combine compact dimensions, a strong visual identity and genuine off road ambitions.

Measuring 4.38 metres in length, the JAECOO 5 BEV focuses on versatility, with a robust design, two driving modes and a fully electric powertrain capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. Inside, the emphasis is on space and comfort, with a generous boot, a large panoramic roof and a modern, functional layout.

On the technology side, it features a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems and a 540 degree panoramic camera system designed to make manoeuvres easier, including on rough terrain. Priced from 32,990 euros, the JAECOO 5 BEV positions itself as a distinctive electric alternative, equally suited to urban use and outdoor escapes.
