Coliving startup Cohabs launches a new premium coliving offer suited to young workers, couples and single parents in an exclusive townhouse located near the trendy Place du Chatelain in Ixelles. Since day one, our mission has been to rethink how people live together.
Cohabs has today more than 350 young workers living in our 28 houses spread between Brussels and New York while an extra 300 bedrooms are currently under renovation.
Cohabs Chatelain 50 Our new offer starts with an amazing mansion located in the trendy district of place du Chatelain in Ixelles. This beautiful 1,200m² townhouse is composed of 19 bedrooms with private bathrooms, large common spaces, a playground for the kids, an aquaponic, a coworking space, a gym, a large garden and so much more.
That is to say couples in their thirties between two housing projects, couples and single parents, divorced quads or isolated seniors… there is no limit of age or time, but we know that the formula of coliving is essentially that of a transitional period.
A fully redesigned environment
With the creative touch of the chief designer, Lionel Jadot and his team have completely redesigned the layout of the bedrooms and common spaces while upgrading the furniture and the materials.
The en-suite bedrooms are very spacious and bright, up to 50m² with a large bed + an extra one for a child. All the furniture has been redesigned by our team and custom integrated to have a final product that is both premium and comfortable. Fully furnished with reusable and high-quality furniture, the living room is the perfect place to relax. If you’re a music lover, you can enjoy the wireless sound system in all the common spaces.
The kitchen is top of the range and fully equipped with all the cooking utensils and essential appliances to prepare succulent meals all together. They have also appealed to Belgian craftsmen for some of the furniture, such as Tanguy Flameng. The results are these wallpaper doors that look like the seabed, reshaped by the currents, always clear, always changing.
An all-included coliving offer
To achieve this unique experience, Cohabs removed all the pain-points of traditional shared housing. They are offering an all-in living experience. From 960 euros per month for a single room, and up to 1350 euros for the biggest en-suites. From 3 months to more than a year, the lease include all bills (internet, water, heating, and more) and all services as self-service electric bikes , newspaper subscriptions on tablets, bedsheets, towels and more.
