Dance Aboard: A ’90s Cruise Extravaganza with Thé Dansant

For 15 years, Thé Dansant has brought daytime electronic music parties to unique locations, creating unforgettable experiences for music lovers. This summer, the anniversary celebrations continue with an exciting new twist: a vibrant ’90s-themed cruise in Antwerp and Brussels!

Thé Dansant was founded by the Materman brothers, Tijl and Kjell, seasoned DJs and party organizers with over two decades of experience. Inspired by the sunny vibes of Berlin and Ibiza, they introduced this daytime dance concept to Belgium, breaking away from the traditional dark club scene.

The magic of Thé Dansant lies in its choice of exclusive venues – from castle gardens and abbeys to boats and mining sites. Each event is meticulously themed, featuring special decorations, animations, and dress codes that invite attendees to get creative with their costumes, adding to the fun and carefree atmosphere.

On Saturday, August 3rd, the celebration sets sail with the Docks 2, a grand party boat from the Netherlands, docking in Antwerp for the Thé Dansant ’90s Cruise. From 3 PM to 10 PM, guests can dance to house music on the open-air upper deck and groove to techno below deck. This impressive boat, the largest of its kind in Belgium, holds up to 700 guests. Boarding starts at 3 PM at Linkeroever, with the boat setting off at 4 PM for a four-hour journey.

The festivities continue a week later on Saturday, August 10th, when the party boat heads to Brussels. The ’90s Cruise departs from the Humbeck Quay, offering another round of high-energy fun. Renowned DJs, including Belgium’s vinyl master Red D and Bulgaria’s techno queen Gabriella Vergilov, will keep the beats pumping all night long.

The theme for these special events? Think ’90s neon, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Gym-Tonic. It’s a chance to relive the colorful ’90s era in style!

Previous Thé Dansant events have always sold out, so grab your tickets early to ensure you don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind dance adventure.
