A Paris Escape: Le Jardin de Verre by Locke

Locke is making its French debut with the opening of Le Jardin de Verre, a stylish new aparthotel in the heart of Paris’s Latin Quarter. Located near the Panthéon, Jardin des Plantes, and the Sorbonne, this unique property blends modern design with the area’s rich history.

Housed in a structure that merges two 16th-century mansions and a 19th-century industrial site, the building honors its past while offering contemporary comfort. The interior, crafted by the Fettle design studio, embraces natural materials like terracotta and wood, balanced by industrial touches like concrete columns and metal accents. The result is a harmonious space filled with light and greenery, reflecting its historic connection to gardens.

Le Jardin de Verre features 145 rooms across 11 categories, from studios with balconies to exclusive suites like the Bégonia and Penthouse. Guests can enjoy a striking triple-height atrium with a bar, terrace, and a courtyard perfect for dining al fresco. There’s also a yoga studio, gym, and a vibrant restaurant designed in warm tones of pink, orange, and red.

From February 2025, Le Jardin de Verre offers a stay that’s both rooted in Parisian heritage and designed for modern living. Whether for work or leisure, it’s an escape that celebrates the charm of one of Paris’s most iconic neighborhoods.
