ReVitrum by Casarialto Atelier Redefines Sustainable Cocktail Tableware Design

Cocktail culture is increasingly shaped by thoughtful presentation, and ReVitrum brings a new perspective to the contemporary art de la table. Created by Casarialto in collaboration with Murano based startup rehub, ReVitrum transforms borosilicate glass waste into a sculptural and functional serving surface designed for aperitifs, cocktails, and shared dining experiences.

Designed as a multifunctional object, ReVitrum can be used as a tray, serving platter, plate, or cutting board. The piece was developed to complement cocktails and food presentation in a natural and versatile way, making serving feel more intentional and visually refined. The project reflects a balance between craftsmanship, functional design, and material research.

At the core of ReVitrum is recycled borosilicate glass. The material comes from glass waste that would otherwise be discarded, then transformed into a durable surface certified for direct food contact. Each piece incorporates approximately 4 kilograms of reclaimed borosilicate glass, reinforcing the project’s circular design approach and sustainable positioning.

The experience of using ReVitrum is centered around sharing and presentation. The surface is paired with three coordinating borosilicate glass bowls in varying sizes, allowing food, cocktails, and aperitif ingredients to be arranged with flexibility. The combination creates a complete serving system suited for modern entertaining and elevated table settings.

Visually, ReVitrum combines sculptural presence with practical functionality. The object measures 40 centimeters in diameter with a thickness of 1 centimeter and features a glass base designed for easier grip and handling. Its substantial weight of nearly 4 kilograms gives the piece a solid and architectural presence within dining rooms, kitchens, or living spaces. Produced in a limited edition of only 30 pieces, ReVitrum also carries the exclusivity associated with collectible design objects.

With ReVitrum, Casarialto Atelier continues its research driven approach to luxury tableware and sustainable design. The project demonstrates how recycled materials, craftsmanship, and contemporary hospitality can come together in a functional object designed for cocktails, aperitifs, and refined entertaining. ReVitrum stands as both a practical serving piece and a design statement rooted in innovation and circular production.
