Sébastien Tellier – Russian Attractions

[wide][/wide] Sebastien Tellier has released a video for the track “Russian Attractions,” which comes off his latest album, My God Is Blue. The video, directed by Meredith Danluck and co-produced by VICE and beverage company Air, matches up well with the somewhat dark, portentous feel of the song. According to Tellier, “Russian Attractions” is inspired by new love and its tendency to be both exhilarating and terrifying. The video offers a kaleidoscopic house-of-mirrors take on synchronized swimming and dance routines. The 007 vibe of the song combined with the piece’s cinematic quality lends itself well to this sort of dramatic video interpretation.
