Stromae – Défiler (Capsule n°5 Mosaert)

Stromae has shared a new 9-minute song called “DÉFILER.” It marks his first piece of original music in five years. He co-composed the piece with his brother Luc Junior Tam.
Stromae’s Belgian creative label Mosaert, the unisex fashion line and multidisciplinary creative label helmed by the belgian pop star Stromae and his wife, Coralie Barbier, has been steadily releasing capsule collections of colorfully patterned polo shirts, T-shirts, and socks since 2012, but its first fashion show was just a few weeks ago.

The unveiling of Mosaert’s new collection, Capsule No. 5, which is available now, took place with a runway show at Paris department store Le Bon Marché earlier this month. An array of models, dressed in furry purple zip-ups, floral-printed sweaters, and silky matching sets, performed precise choreography to an original 10-minute composition by Stromae. This song, titled “Défiler” marks his first official release in five years.

The song is about walking in the original sense and figuratively,

Stromae says.

It’s also about beauty and our modern conception of it. Actually, I’m speaking about life in general.
