Here’s the film’s synopsis: In 1991 Jeff Buckley (Badgley), an unknown twenty four year-old L.A. musician, is invited to participate in a tribute concert in New York City for his late father Tim Buckley, the iconic folk rock star. But for those who are hoping for a biopic on American vocalist Tim Buckley, they might be disappointed.
The film premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2012 to generally positive reviews. The Hollywood Reporter said it was a “Sensitive, well-cast film about father-son musicians Tim and Jeff Buckley gets the emotions and music just right” while The Globe and Mail placed it among their top six favorite movies of the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. Lets wait and see it!
