Atoms For Peace – Judge Jury and Executioner

[wide][/wide] Atoms For Peace is an experimental rock & electronic supergroup formed in late 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar and piano), Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (bass), longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich (guitar, keyboards, synths), Joey Waronker of Beck & R.E.M. (drums) and instrumentalist Mauro Refosco (percussion).
With some strange loops and atmospheric vocals, this new Atoms For Peace single has me more psyched than ever. Not only is there a solid chord progression here, but I’m loving the mix of acoustic and electric sounds on this. The raw acoustic guitar slides in nicely with the song’s detailed beat and weary tone. Their debut album, Amok, will be released on February 25.
