Sundance 2013: James Franco on Producing Porn Documentary ‘Kink’

[wide][/wide]

The documentary « Kink », premiering at last week’s Sundance Film Festival and produced by James Franco, takes a bird’s eye look at San Francisco-based major BDSM internet porn company Kink.com, and doesn’t wince.

Directed by Franco’s longtime cinematographer, Christina Voros, Kink will look at the inner workings of the production company and attempt to demystify the BDSM lifestyle. The documentary is set to premiere at Sundance last Saturday. As you could imagine, the trailer is, like, super-NSFW. Well, unless you work at another BDSM porn-production company — then it would be the most mild thing you’ll watch all season.

Check out the movie’s trailer and tak a closer look at this oft-misunderstood subculture. The trailer itself is certainly intriguing… So which camp are you in?
