BrAMS 3: A Spiraling Showcase of Brussels’ Iconoclastic Artists

Following the resounding success of their previous exhibitions, BrAMS Uno at the Sablon Gallery in 2021, and BrAMS Due at a private – yet surreal – residence in Ixelles the following year, the rebellious founders of the polymorphic collective of Brussels artists, Yorgoland, JPMDR, and Fabio Denker, are back with a triumphant third installment. This time, they invite their friends and fellow artists to join them in the vibrant neighborhood of Galeries de la Bascule.

BrAMS 3, as they affectionately call it, will take place at JPMDR’s Exhibition Studio on 21 St Georges Street, starting from September 7, coinciding with the Brussels Gallery Weekend. The showcase promises to be a captivating journey through contemporary art, embracing the spirit of creativity and pushing the boundaries of artistic expression.

The event will conclude during the Parcours d’artistes de la Commune in mid-October, turning the spotlight once again on the iconic house that previously hosted BrAMS Due. However, this time, instead of merely closing the loop, the artists plan to spiral upwards, exploring new horizons and embarking on exciting future projects.

The trio of founders will be joined by a selection of talented artists who will contribute to the completion of this triptych of contemporary art events. Pascal Bernier, a multidisciplinary artist, will bring his unique perspective, while Sofi Van Saltbommel, a master ceramist, will unveil delicate and intriguing ceramic creations. Adding to the allure of the exhibition, Alberto Sola, a painter and mixed-media artist, will immerse visitors in his vivid and thought-provoking artworks, and Lou Van Riet, a visionary designer, will showcase innovative and cutting-edge design pieces.
