Brussels is set to host the fourth edition of the Rencontres Jean-Marc Quarin, a must-attend event for Bordeaux wine enthusiasts, taking place on November 28 and 29, 2024, at the Steigenberger Wiltcher’s Hotel on Avenue Louise.
This unique event, led by Jean-Marc Quarin, an independent wine critic, and Fabrice Léger, offers a meticulously curated selection of iconic wines, blending “Outsider” wines – hidden gems surpassing their reputation – with renowned classified growths. Each estate will showcase three vintages, offering insights into the consistency and excellence of their products.
Highlights of the event:
- Inaugural dinner at the prestigious Cercle Royal Gaulois on November 28. This exclusive meal, limited to 100 guests, pairs refined dishes with wines selected by Jean-Marc Quarin.
- Tasting workshop dedicated to Château Croix de Labrie, a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, featuring a vertical tasting of nine vintages, hosted by Pierre Courdurié and Jean-Marc Quarin.
The Rencontres Jean-Marc Quarin also promise an educational journey into the Bordeaux wine region, exploring the differences between wines from the Left and Right Banks, and showcasing Bordeaux wines that are redefining taste.
