Superb latest single from London based grandiose indie folkies, Fanfarlo. Sure, they still sound like Arcade Fire a bit but the addition of some eerie sounds take it to their own place.
“Replicate” continues to take on epic, multi-instrumentalist folk pop, but is also more polished, tighter, and perhaps even a bit frantic, like it’d belong in a Hitchcock film. Frontman Simon Balthazer had claimed in a recent interview to expect the record to be less folk, and more progressive punk meets pop.
Their second album is ready and was produced with Ben Allen (recent producer of Cut Copy’s Zonoscope for example).
