French director/animator Maxime Bruneel created this neon animated beauty to accompany the new single of the UK duo. The band wanted a promo inspired by Amos Poe’s Alphabet City movie so Maxime’s idea was to have a car driving in the fog at night – with obvious references to David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway.
Entirely animated with a very minimal render, black background & flashy colors in 2D, Maxime injected graphics, designed typos and perverted the colors’ scale to reach something definitely current and more pop… The video was produced by ChezEddy.
