Budapest is one of the most beautiful capital cities in the Europe and more and more people are coming to visit it every year to admire its architecture, get immersed in its rich culture, taste the best dishes of the Hungarian cuisine, “recharge their batteries” in our centuries-old baths and discover Budapest’s vibrant night life which, of course, includes LGBTQ bars and parties as well. To attract the LGBTQ community to spend a weekend in Budapest, Humen Travel Touristic Association (Humen Travel Turisztikai Egyesület launched the promotion campaign ‘Budapest Loves You’.
The association aims to design image campaigns for Budapest whose aim is to popularize the Hungarian capital as an appealing destination for LGBTQ people from all around the globe.
The LGBTQ community is just as easy to segment as any other target group in tourism. We have to be aware of their individual needs and create a communication strategy and a service package accordingly, containing the services they prefer and maintaining the quality they expect,
said Zsolt Erdei, the executive of the association & founder of Humen Media Hungary.
